WBRSA COVID-19 Response

Social Distancing: 

  • A Site Supervisor will be assigned to monitor and enforce all guidelines and requirements during all permitted activities.
  • Facial coverings must be worn by all persons in public places where social distancing (of 6ft.) in accordance with CDC guidelines is not possible or not being practiced.
  • Families are encouraged to bring a lawn chair/blanket to sit along the outfield fence in between the foul poles. All players and spectators are asked to arrive and depart from scheduled sessions promptly.
  • A maximum of 3 players are permitted inside of the dugout at the same time without the use of facial coverings. Other team members to be stationed behind the dugout in the extended dugout areas in order to maintain a 6ft distance.
  • Staggered start and finish times with a minimum of 30 minutes in between sessions to allow for league adherence to max capacity and hygiene protocols (noted below).

Required hygiene:  

  • Wellness checks must be conducted on all participants prior to arrival at fields (must include body temperature check).
  • Hand slaps, huddles, shared water bottles and food sharing are not permitted.
  • No equipment sharing unless disinfected Team benches and equipment to be disinfected in between sessions.
  • Please wash/disinfect hands prior to arrival and departure at the fields.
  • If any family members (or others in close contact) are exhibiting any cold or flu symptoms, then please stay home.
